I don’t remember the last time I watched it. I have some vague memory of watching it in the last six years, kind of sort of paying attention, and enjoying(!) it, but I think that’s all dumb brain manipulation. Everything was so long ago. I remember writing some (crappy) “How To Fix The Pro Bowl” article on Blogspot like seven years ago, and if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have written it at all. It was the type of thing everyone writes when they first start writing about football. Make them play dodgeball. Have five MISSISSIPPI pass rushes and remove the line of scrimmage. Have a pizza-eating contest. Bring back tug of war. Actually, no one has written that before. Damn I would love an AFC versus NFC pizza-eating contest. I don’t think I would ever watch it. I would just be happy that it existed. Really my only true memory of the Pro Bowl is being a child Will Fuller V Jersey White , not having cable, and being stuck watching it the week after the Super Bowl while waiting for my night shift working father to wake up. I loved how every team wore their own helmets. All those different colored helmets was always lovely on the fuzzy, bunny ear fed television screen. Damn, I was so bored. Mowing the lawn was fun. At least the Pro Bowl was better than Arena League Football or Motocross races on NBC.I won’t be watching the Pro Bowl weekend. If I said I had better things to do, I would be lying. There’s just things I would rather be doing. Pushing stuff around, finishing Desert Solitaire once again, not eating Whitney Mercilus Jersey White , writing a film room post on James Devlin, or scarfing down the end of The Sopranos. None of these things are important. None of them matter. I would just rather be doing these things than watching Deshaun Watson play in an exhibition game one more time. Anyways, what about you?
