We are less than ninety minutes away from kickoff at MetLife Stadium

ladies and gentlemen, and that means that both the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets have released their lists of inactive players for today’s contest.
Let’s take a look at who will be sitting out of this one for both sides. As always, we start with the visiting team.https://www.minnesotavikingsshop.com/hats Minnesota VikingsRB Dalvin CookLB Devante DownsDE Everson GriffenDT Linval JosephOT Riley ReiffS Andrew SendejoQB Kyle SloterA big surprise on the inactive list for the Vikings, as the team has made Linval Joseph inactive for today’s contest with the injuries he’s been dealing with over the past week. Jaleel Johnson will be making his first career NFL start in Joseph’s spot. Cook, Griffen, Reiff, and Sendejo were all declared out on Friday’s final injury report. Rashod Hill starts at left tackle once again with Brian O’Neill starting at right tackle, and George Iloka will get his second consecutive start in Sendejo’s spot. And now, on to the home team.New York JetsWR Quincy EnunwaDT Folorunso FatukasiCB Trumaine JohnsonCB Derrick JonesS Marcus MayeLB Kevin Pierre-LouisCB Buster SkrineThe absence of Johnson and Skrine means that the Jets are without two of their top three cornerbacks in this one. They’re also without two of their top three wide receivers, as they released Terrelle Pryor on Saturday afternoon. Those are the inactive lists for today’s contest, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll have the First Quarter Open Thread up and running at 11:00 AM Central. It’s injury report day across the National Football League Minnesota Vikings Hoodie , ladies and gentlemen, and we need to take a look at the final injury reports for the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions leading up to this Sunday’s contest at U.S. Bank Stadium. As always, we will start with the visiting team.Detroit LionsDetroit Lions injury report vs Minnesota VikingsPlayerPositionInjuryWednesdayThursdayFridaySunday StatusPlayerPositionInjuryWednesdayThursdayFridaySunday StatusDarius Slay, as you can see, was a late addition to the injury report for the Lions, and his absence could be a pretty significant one. He’s easily the Lions’ best cornerback, and with the Vikings potentially being at a disadvantage at that position. . .more on that shortly. . .it certainly helps the Vikings that he’s either going to be hobbled a bit or out completely.Ezekiel Ansah is listed as “questionable” for what I believe is the 237th consecutive time. Seriously, I don’t know if that guy has been healthy since his rookie season. And now, on to the home team.Minnesota VikingsMinnesota Vikings injury report vs Detroit LionsPlayerPositionInjuryWednesdayThursdayFridaySunday StatusPlayerPositionInjuryWednesdayThursdayFridaySunday StatusThe big one on the injury report this week, aside from the three players that are listed as “Out,” is wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Diggs didn’t practice all week with a rib injury that he suffered in last Sunday’s loss against New Orleans. He didn’t practice all week Chuck Foreman Jersey , and it’s been pointed out on the Twitters that, in the Mike Zimmer era, there has only been one player that has missed all three practices of a three-practice week and then played on Sunday. That was tight end Kyle Rudolph, who didn’t practice all week and was listed as “Doubtful” for last season’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals and then went on to play anyway. So, it’s not looking terribly good for Diggs at this point.Outside of that, it sounds like Riley Reiff and Xavier Rhodes are on track to come back on Sunday, which is nice. If Reiff does come back at left tackle, it will be interesting to see if the Vikings stick with Brian O’Neill at right tackle or if they put Rashod Hill back at that spot and send O’Neill back to the bench. Those are the injury reports for this weekend’s game, ladies and gentlemen. If there are any further developments, we’ll make sure you’re informed of them right away.
