They were perhaps just as surprising in Day 2 by waiting and making EDGE Oshane Ximines their lone selection with the 95th overall pick. There was potential to trade up at some point, but the Giants decided to stay and keep six picks for Day 3. The Giants will have a fourth (108) two fifths (143 and 171) a sixth (180) and two sevenths (232 and 245). Again there is potential for trades, especially with that second fifth-round pick. Below are the values of the Giants’ picks per the Football Perspective Approximate Value chart.Giants Day 3 picksPickAVPickAVsource: Football PerspectiveUpdated Big BoardWe’ve been keeping up with the Big Board through the first two days and for the most part the value has matched. Here’s an updated look at where Chris and I ranked these prospects, who is off the board, and who is still available with the Giants’ picks highlighted.Best players availableThe Giants had to wait a long time to pick on Day 2 but will have a significantly shorter wait time at the start of Day 3. The 108th overall pick will be the sixth pick in the fourth round, which means the Giants should be able to take one of the best available players on the board.First-round gradesTwo players with first-round grades on our board remain: safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson from Florida and wide receiver Hakeem Butler from Iowa State. Gardner-Johnson is a versatile defensive back who played a lot of nickel corner last season and has played both safety positions during his college career. Butler is a tall wide receiver who sports speed and athleticism to win on the outside and from the slot.First/Second-round gradesJust one player remains from this category — Texas defensive lineman Charles Omenihu. At 280 pounds, Omenihu has the ability and versatility to play on the interior and the outside. He had 21 run stuffs and 17 quarterback hits for the Longhorns in 2018.Best of the restEmanuel Hall, WR, MissouriAmani Oruwariye, CB, Penn StateJulian Love, CB Kevin Zeitler Jersey , Notre DameDeionte Thompson, S, AlabamaDru Samia, OG, OklahomaDavid Edwards, OT, WisconsinBlake Cashman, LB, MinnesotaCaleb Wilson, TE, UCLAGerald Willis, iDL, MiamiChristian Miller Womens Saquon Barkley Jersey , EDGE, AlabamaNon-BPA guys I still really like:Marvel Tell, S, USCXavier Ubosi, WR, UABMichael Dogbe, iDL, TempleMaxx Crosby, EDGE, Eastern MichiganTe’Von Coney, LB, Notre Dame Last Saturday night, Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. apologized to teammates for his comments in an ESPN interview that would debut the next day , even though his teammates didn’t know what he’d said. On Sunday, Beckham contradicted the apology, saying that he regrets nothing that he said, and that he was simply trying to show leadership.Later in the week, the Giants fined Beckham for him comments, which would seem to be a clear statement that the organization doesn’t share his assessment of the wisdom or impact of his words. Now, Beckham has addressed the situation again, at the outset of the latest episode of a Facebook video series.“Bro, I鈥檓 sorry that I鈥檓 not gonna apologize from my heart,鈥?Beckham said, via Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News. “I don鈥檛 feel like you deserve an apology for one, and I don鈥檛 feel like it鈥檚 necessary for me to apologize for how I feel.”It’s unclear who Beckham is addressing, but it is clear that he believes that no apology is needed for the things he has said. Which puts him squarely at odds with the team on this point. And which potentially will subject him to further discipline Aldrick Rosas Jersey , if he continues to express how he feels, without restraint, tact, or discretion. And that’s really what this boils down to. We all exercise restraint, tact, and discretion when interacting with others. If everyone were always completely honest about how they feel, the torrent of insults and reaction/retribution followed by more insults and more reaction/retribution would lead to widespread chaos.Plenty of people don’t volunteer their true feelings because they know that sharing their true feelings will cause far more trouble than concealing them ever would. Especially when the person harboring the true feelings belongs to a group with other members who surely would prefer not to have the true feelings of other members of the group conveyed to the world.Sure, Beckham is frustrated. Yes, he wants to win. But there are ways to channel those feelings without engaging in bizarre interviews or other stunts that will tend to not have the desired effect.Maybe he simply needs to mature. Maybe he needs real accountability. Whatever the case, Beckham doesn’t get it, and those defending him for telling the truth are greasing the skids toward what could be a very ugly outcome in New York.
